7. Processing of rump data after completion of the application process
After completion of the application process, we retain certain so-called rump data (e.g. name, year of birth and advertised position) for a limited period of time – regardless of the success of the application. This is done exclusively for internal documentation and traceability of selection processes.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). We protect your interests and fundamental rights in particular by not storing complete applicant documents, but only a greatly reduced data set. This data will not be processed or passed on beyond this. The deletion takes place after 12 months at the latest.
You have the right to object to this processing at any time with effect for the future on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Your data will only be passed on to affiliated companies and service partners if they work on our behalf and support NGK EUROPE GmbH in the provision of their services. For the purpose of managing the application process, we use the applicant management system provided by rexx systems GmbH, Süderstraße 75–79, 20097 Hamburg. Your personal data is processed by commissioned service providers within the framework of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The aforementioned service providers will only have access to such personal information as is necessary to perform their respective activities. These service providers are prohibited from sharing your personal information or using it for any other purpose, including but not limited to their own advertising purposes. To the extent that external service providers come into contact with your personal data, we have taken legal, technical and organisational measures as well as regular checks to ensure that they also comply with the applicable data protection regulations. Your personal data will not be passed on commercially to other companies.
We attach great importance to processing your data within the EU/EEA. However, it may happen that we use service providers who process data outside the EU / EEA. In these cases, we ensure that an adequate level of data protection comparable to the standards within the EU is established at the recipient before the transfer of your personal data. This can be achieved, for example, through EU standard contracts or binding corporate rules or special agreements to which the company can submit.
